English for Unique Interest
English for Unique Learning Interests are short specialized courses organized by Khawarizmi Training Solutions for working professionals who intend to communicate better in English within a particular sphere of interest. These courses are divided into 4 parts:
- English for Profession
- English for Work Skills
- English for Industry
- English for Sport and Leisure
Student is required to apply for courses that best suit their present line of interest in order to develop their communication prowess within those particular areas of interest.
The duration for each short course is 40 hours; in order to help students quickly complete and become experts in communicating within specific areas of life or profession.
Objectives
The primary objective of this program is to equip students with the necessary training and knowledge required to boost their efficiency in communication, as they carry out their day to day activities within specific areas of their profession and social life.
English for Professions
- English for Customer Service: This course is designed for those who need to communicate with customers more effectively and efficiently in English over the phone, in person, or in writing.
- English for the Legal Professional: This course is designed for those who need to use legal terms in a business environment when speaking to clients, business partners, and colleagues. This course is well suited for lawyers, students of law, translators and other legal professionals.
- English for Marketing & Advertising: This course is designed for professionals who need to communicate with various advertising agencies, publishing companies and other marketing companies.
- English for Sales & Purchasing: This course is designed for professionals who would like to communicate efficiently with international clients and colleagues in a sales or purchasing environment.
- English for Accounting: This course is designed for Accounting and Finance professionals; in order to give them more confidence to be able to communicate with colleagues and clients about Accounting, revenue expenditure, and other related topics.
- English for Human Resources: This course is designed for those working in Human Resources and recruitment departments that need to use English when communicating with employees and colleagues.
English for Industries
- English for Aviation: This course is designed for professionals in the aviation industry. It focuses on topics such as pre-flight checks, flight path, aircraft engines and more.
- English for Automobile Industry: This course is suitable for those working in the Automobile industry such as car manufacturers, suppliers, car dealerships, or for a marketing agency involved with the automobile industry.
- English for Energy Industry: This course is designed for professionals working in the Energy Industry and it provides students with the necessary linguistic skills to communicate and understand daily situations in the work environment and complex developments within the global energy sector.
- English for Logistics: This course is designed to teaches students the target vocabulary and commonly used expressions that are essential for communication in a variety of logistics roles including carriers, suppliers, and couriers. This course is suitable for employees working at a variety of levels including management and those working for a shipping agent, a customs broker, or related field.
- English for Telecommunications and Information Technology: This course is designed for professionals in IT, Communications, or related fields. It helps to train students on how to communicate effectively within the IT and Telecommunications sector.
- English for Cabin Crew: This course is designed to instruct students on how to communicate clearly, assertively, & politely in a range of different in-flight situations, from take-off to landing. It covers topics such as, how to explain meals & services, solve seating problems, and attend to sick passengers.
- English for Pharmaceuticals: This course is designed for professionals within the pharmaceutical sector, such as chemists, formulation scientists, lab technicians, medical writers, & clinical researchers.
- English for Fashion Industry: This course gives students the communication skills they need for a career in fashion. Each unit will cover communication skills within the fashion industry; from garment design and construction, to the production and promotion of collections.
English for Work Skills
- English for E-mails: This course is designed for professionals who desire to write e-mails in a business context. Vocabulary, basic email structure, as well as various aspects of business emails will be discussed in the course to allow the student to feel more confident using English in e-mails.
- English for Telephoning: This course is designed for those who need to make effective telephone calls in English in a business context. Various tools and practice exercises will be used to assist the learner in feeling more confident speaking over the phone in English.
- English for Presentations: this course is designed for professionals who regularly need to give presentations in English at work. Vocabulary and classroom scenarios are created to give the student more confidence in making excellent presentations.
- English for Negotiating: This course is designed for professionals who regularly need to negotiate in English in a professional environment. Students will receive modules and practice material that will equip them with the terms and scenarios needed to effectively negotiate.
- English for Meetings: this course is designed for professionals who need to participate in meetings in English. Students will participate in engaging topics, motivating role-plays, and a variety of exercises that provide a framework for using English in meetings.
- English for Socializing: This course is designed for those who need English to socialize in a professional context. Participants will be familiarized with skills in conveniently making arrangements, meeting visitors, talking about plans and more in whatever the environment.
English for Sports
- English for Commentaries: This course is designed for sport professionals, seeking the communication skills they need in the world of football. The course will focus on vocabulary and expressions used in this global sport, as well as trainings and topics such as nutrition, fitness and treatment.
