The holder of the Knowledge, Skills, and Application Level 4 Award in Assessment (8 credits), will have demonstrated the competence needed to plan, select, conduct, record, and feedback competency-based assessment decisions for vocational qualifications. The holder will have appreciated the current landscape of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector, including the importance of contributing to the quality assurance processes of assessment and continuous professional development. The holder will have demonstrated competence to select the appropriate assessment method to suit given criteria, and create, test, and critically review assessment instruments and tools. The holder will have demonstrated competency in carrying out and making assessment decisions within both the vocational and workplace settings.
